Game of Thrones prequel delayed while showrunners search for worse writers

It appears fans will be waiting a while longer before getting their Game of Thrones fix. While it is true that a GoT prequel is currently in the works, showrunners have run into a bit of a dilemma with their writing staff. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have created a void that is proving difficult to fill.

“Look, after the overwhelming success of Season 8 of GoT it became clear that fans of the series expect a certain level of quality. Unfortunately, we are unable to meet those expectations using writers who are even slightly proficient at their jobs. As a result, filming will be delayed until we can secure a less coherent writing staff. Good news is we have a lead on a homeless guy who has been spotted shouting conspiracy theories at the side of a building. That is the kind of excellence we are looking to bring to the table”

Said our sources behind the scenes.

It’s hard to say what the future will hold for the prequel but hopefully for everybody’s sake it’s filled with plot holes, terrible character arcs, and a level of mediocrity that we have all come to expect.
