Local Man Stops Global Warming by Sharing a Meme That Says Others Should be Stopping Global Warmingleighton
It’s no secret that the Earth needs to be protected if we wish to sustain an environment suitable for humans and animals alike. However, it may not be a problem for much longer. A member of the Department of Implying Care and Kindness on Social Media, D.I.C.K.S for short, changed everything yesterday. In a series of memes shared to his Facebook account, he illustrated the idea that people should be saving the environment. Examples include a hot new meme that states we should be focusing on planting trees instead of venturing to mars. This level of activism caused everybody to rally together to save the environment, excluding him of course, he did his part already.
I reached out to some experts to better understand how ordinary people could save the environment. Here are some ‘great ideas’ they had.
Stop Eating Meat, or at Least Eat Less of it.
Alright, hold up. I understand that these ‘experts’ believe that, by far, not eating meat is the most effective way to reduce your carbon footprint and combat climate change. What they don’t understand is that you’re not a pussy. Also, how do they not realize that people on social media are unaware of your dietary habits. It’s like, is the planet really worth saving if other people don’t even acknowledge it? What kind of asshole would do that? Clearly Facebook memes are still the winner as they focus on real change (done by other people obviously).
Plant a Garden or Trees
Holy shit, I can’t take this anymore. Sure, at least you can post pictures of your garden on Facebook but how will anybody know that it’s to save the environment. Maybe you just really like vegetables. I thought not eating meat was a fluke and telling other people to plant trees via memes would hold down the number two spot but no, they act like you doing it is more beneficial. Fucking idiots.
I’m done with this bullshit article. Fuck this. Go share memes like somebody who actually wants to make a difference.
